Both the LifeSaver Jerrycan and LifeSaver Wayfarer™ use advanced ultrafiltration technology to remove viruses, bacteria, cysts, and parasites from contaminated water sources — without the need for chemicals or electricity.

LifeSaver technology filters out:

  • Bacteria: minimum Log 6 (99.9999%)

  • Viruses: minimum Log 4–5 (99.99–99.999%)

  • Cysts: minimum Log 3–4 (99.9–99.99%)

Our products are independently tested to meet NSF Protocol 231, following U.S. EPA recommendations for microbiological water purifiers.

The Jerrycan has been independently tested to exceed NSF P248 standards for virus, bacteria, and protozoan cyst reduction, as verified by the U.S. Army Public Health Center (MEDCOM).
