After purchasing the lifesaver jerrycan I found it to leek at the rap and the pump would fill with water. Sedements would be found in water after purification. I have now emailed this company twice, after there response replying yo the issue this problem with the jerrycan continued. I emailed again with no reponse. I emailed this week again, with no response. I would say customer services may pick and chose what emails and problems to deal with. I would not truly say its worth its money.
Hi Shaun, we're sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced. We appreciate your feedback and would like to resolve this for you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
While this cube will stay sealed until needed, I did a lot of research on which water filter offered the best set of features as well as performance. I settled on the Lifesaver Cube based on recommendations and reputation.

Hi Shane, thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you're happy with the LifeSaver Jerrycan and our shipping. Looking forward to serving you again!
I bought this LifeSaver unit specifically for emergency use, in case a serious disruption to the water supply means that safe drinking water is no longer readily available.
For that reason, I cannot really say that owning it gives me “peace of mind”. In fact, there is a degree of continuing uncertainty because I have to leave the unit unused and rely on the manufacturer's claims that, if and when the emergency arises, it will perform exactly as intended.
Testing it now would require opening and commissioning it, which rather defeats the purpose of buying and storing a new unit specifically for an emergency.
In that respect, purchasing it feels rather like paying an insurance premium: I have spent a considerable amount of money in the hope that I will never need it, while also trusting that it will work properly if I do.
Bearing in mind the huge cost of this product, I would have liked LifeSaver to consider providing a manufacturer-approved way for purchasers to test their individual unit after purchase and then return it to a fully protected condition for long-term emergency storage. Ideally, this could include a test procedure and a suitable resealing or preservation kit supplied with the product.
That really would provide peace of mind. I would know that the particular unit sitting in my emergency supplies had actually been tested and was working correctly, while still being properly preserved and ready for the day when I might genuinely need it.
Until then, I cannot honestly review its performance because I hope I never have cause to use it.
Hi Bahman, thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We understand the importance of peace of mind with emergency preparedness. While testing a sealed unit can be challenging, we appreciate your suggestion about providing a testing method and preservation kit. Your insights are valuable and help us consider how we can improve our products and services. Stay safe, and we're here if you need any further assistance.

This is a fantastic bit of kit. I have been using it at the local river to me whilst out on bike rides. It’s a piece of cake to fill up my water bottle and I enjoy being self sufficient. It’s a chalk stream and the purified water tastes divine, much nicer than tap water.
Hi Daniel, we're thrilled to hear you're enjoying your LifeSaver Wayfarer™ on your bike rides! It's great to know the water tastes fantastic and that you're feeling self-sufficient. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Love it. Used it at Big Bend, White Sands and the Grand Canyon. Will come in handy for the next backcountry tour in Utah!
Hi Johnny, we're thrilled to hear you love the LifeSaver Shower Attachment and that it's been helpful on your adventures! Enjoy your next trip to Utah!
Well it looks nice and is now full of water. I’ll have to wait until after the zombie apocalypse to let you know if it purified the water enough so we didn’t die. If we still have the Internet and no body has stolen all of my solar panels so I still have power, I’ll be sure to update this review.
Hi Amanda, glad to hear you're testing the pack! Fingers crossed it keeps you safe in the zombie apocalypse. We'd love to hear your update when the time comes. Stay prepared!
Thank you
What I need
Hi there! We're so glad to hear our filters meet your needs. Thanks for your support!
A most excellent product, great quality.
Although when in use in a civilian city, I would prefer to buy the Lifesaver Pouch in the colour Black, and DDPM ( Desert ) is not to a diplomatic colour to wear, for Force Protection security reasons.
I originally bought a Black version, but these rare black Lifesaver pouches do not seem to be available now.
Please Lifesaver, could you please reproduce the Black Cordura versions of the Lifesaver Bottle Pouch again please.
Thank you.
Hi there, thank you for your kind words! We appreciate your feedback and will pass along your request for the Black Cordura version to our team. Stay tuned for updates, and thanks for choosing Icon Lifesaver!
The charcoal filters made a huge difference. I've been using my jerry can for a year everyday and used it in some very dirty water, never got sick.
Hi Brian, we're thrilled to hear the filters have been reliable for you! Thanks for sharing your experience and for choosing LifeSaver USA.
Not much to that others have already said about this jerrycan. It works as expected and knowing I have a water purification system for my overlanding trips.
